Assigning Access Rights to a Team
Assigning access rights to a team is a straightforward process. Begin by selecting the relevant team from the dropdown menu located at the top of the access table within the 'Access' tab. Then, toggle the switch on or off for the corresponding section or module as needed.
Assigning access rights to a team is a simple process. Just follow these steps:
- Go to the 'Access' tab.
- Select the dropdown menu at the top of the access table.
- From the dropdown menu, select the relevant team you want to assign access rights to.
- In the access table view, toggle the switches on or off for the corresponding sections or modules based on your requirements.
For certain instances, fine-grained access is necessary, determining the extent to which the team can view, create, and/or modify content within a specific section or module.
- Select the dropdown fields associated with a section and/or modal and select an option that best fits your requirements.
The following information details the level of fine-grained access within each section or module.
Note that there may be additional fine-grained features within the sections and modules themselves that are not outlined here. For example, when assigning further roles and responsibilities to a meeting secretary for more control at the meeting level, or for instance blacklisting certain members of a team from accessing a particular document that the whole team has access to. More information of those types of fine-graining can be found in other articles.
Ownership & Capital
Ownership & Capital does not contain any fine-grained features, with the exception of a particular feature that grants only the 'Account Owner' and/or an assigned 'Super Administrator' the ability to initiate a share book using the in-built share book wizard.
The share book must be created first to gain access to all other sections and modules within Ownership & Capital. Refer to the Ownership & Capital artciels for more information regarding the starting of a share book.
Although there is no fine-graining for 'Ownership & Capital' you can still allocate access to a section or module.
Documents
As well as granting access to the 'Document' section and modules you can provide:
- View only mode that limits the member to being able to only view documents that they have access to.
- View and modify own documents mode allows the member to create, edit any documents that they upload but they only have view rights for any documents other members have uploaded if they have been given access rights to.
- View and modify own documents and folders mode allows the member to do all the above but also create and manage their own folders.
- View and modify with no restrictions mode allows the member to do all the above but also allows them to modify other members' created folders and uploaded documents.
The 'e-Signing' module is a simple toggle on and off for access rights without any fine-graining within 'User management'.
Please note that although the 'e-signing' module falls under 'Documents', it also impacts the signing process in 'Meetings'. Therefore, before toggling it on or off, consider that it may limit a member's ability to initiate the signing process in meetings. Future versions will separate these concerns.
The 'Company shared folders' module is a simple toggle on and off for access rights without any fine-graining within 'User management'.
Meetings
As well as granting access to the 'Meetings' section and modules you can provide:
- View only mode that limits the member to being able to only view meetings that they have access to but no ability to create meetings or meeting groups.
- View and modify own meetings mode allows the member to create and modify their own meetings.
- View and modify own meetings and meeting groups mode allows the member to do all the above but also the ability to create their own meeting groups.
- View and modify with no restrictions mode,
Tasks
As well as granting access to the 'Tasks' section and modules you can provide:
- View and modify own tasks mode, which enables members to create and modify their own tasks and collaborate with other members on assigned tasks.
- View and modify own tasks and categories mode, which allows members to perform all of the above actions while also creating their own task categories.
- View and modify with no restrictions mode, which grants members access to all of the above capabilities as well as the ability to update and manage tasks of other members, even if the tasks were not assigned to member in question.
Administration
Administration does not offer any fine-grained features, but only access rights to sections and modules.

Please note the following support options available to you:
- Chat is available during office hours from 9:00 to 17:00 CET.
- Email is available 24/7; however, we can only respond during the office hours as mentioned above.
In some cases, our support team may require access to your account to address specific issues. We request that you grant us access to bypass your login by selecting the 'Grant access to Invono support' function, located at the top of your profile page. This can be accessed by clicking on the 'More Action' icon. You have full control over this aspect.
